Rodeois a sport which involves horses or other live stock programmed to test the skill and speed of the humans. Professional rodeos take part in events like tie-roping, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bare back riding, bull riding and barrel racing. Events are of two categories – rough stock events and timed events. The traditional season for competitive events is spring and fall, highest number of highly competitive events take place around July 4th. Rodeo has irked the animal lovers of America, opposition from the animal rights and animal welfare organizations are addressing the issue as animal cruelty.
