Kindergartens in USA provide half day programs for toddlers. Children will be transported to and/or from their schools in a licensed van with drivers meeting state requirements. Before and after school care and transportation is provided for children in elementary grades if it is desired by parents. Government expects the kindergarten teachers to have specialized teacher’s training with certification and police check. Attendance for children under six is not compulsory and the schools varies according to the fee structures, location and circumstance of the community. The types of schools include non-profit co-operative schools, church affiliated schools, local community and private schools.
